Just a quick warm up this morning to get started. Tried a version with a spotlight background, but I don't think it works as effectively as the white.

« Result #6 on Dec 19, 2009, 8:10am »

Is there anywhere to get pre-penciled practice inking pages that you can just ink over as a practice thing?

I flatted this one 18 months ago and got...distracted... but now here it is! I think I'm getting stuck on 'yellow-gold and green' colour schemes. This is the 3rd one in the past 5 pictures I've done...

pencils = joe cooper
inks = 'koblish'

cheers

Happy Holidays to all my friends here at BSH. I might have found the writer I need . Next step Colorist ... I'm going for a more pencil feel
to this. colors need to be right on this project. I'll post something maybe as a Sample sometime. I wanted/am lookin for Ultimates 3's colors.
Lichtner is one of my favorite colorist right now.

Working on Vehicles for this panel .I believe strongly in doing research when nessesary, for the sake of accuracy I turn to "theGoogle". I remember cutting my fathers magazines
National Geo, Time, Newsweek. Every friggein page truning to decide witch picture to save when there is 2 good ones on either side of a time mag article. And now after the internets search engines that filing cabin sits waiting for the recycling gods to clam it.

COMING SOON ! vs Agent F.A.D.E. (sector51)
BIO TO FOLLOW.

Made this Faux Covers this morning for turds & giggles .
This could easily become a spin off. I want one of these Characters to be a stand alone in the Seeker Universe. Agent F.A.D.E. is going to be fun to draw. A shadow Creature/Agent, a living Shadow. Keith is working up a smort bio now. I'll post bios & sketches of styles to draw all black(SILHOUETTE) Characters with out losing something, (THOUGHTS ?) soon.

Been a while since I've posted anything so, here they are...

A couple of quick sketches with pencil and a sharpie, getting the artistic mojo working after a heavy lunch the other day.

[image]

This one was another drop in the hat for my daughter after she saw an old episode of the 90's x-men series on toon disney and asked me to draw it for her...she is 4, hense the 'g ' rated version and cartoony style, rather than my over developed muscular version, as in the Puma post.

Is it just me or does Doc Oc look like Roy Obison?

Anyway, enjoy!
