I have really enjoyed your work on this since you posted it. I would recommend that as you develop the characters into an actual storyline, if you are going that route, to add feet to them, even if something like a cross between a retile/dino foot or even a furry hoof style thing. Reason being is that they would have very little ability to run. Walking is possible, as has been done on many disabled limbs but even in fiction, it has to be practical and functional to believable. Otherwise, you risk busting the illusion for your wouldbe reader/viewer.
Prime example: The incredible hulk - due to wanting to keep the guy covered, Stan Lee approved the purple pants to stay on but as everyone knows and has made fun of the character for years because it is impossible for them to stay on.
This is actually reason enough to turn some off to the character completely. I am still a fan of the big lug, myself.
Keep this in mind. Practicality has it's place in the real world and fiction, just the same.
