Hello! My name is Terri Delgado. I am currently a comic book letterer, but my main goal is to someday be a comic book artist. I figure it was time for me to start doing a bit more networking since I am trying to get into the biz. If nothing more, it'll be nice to speak with people who have the same interests. =D

Hi! I'm an Interactive Media major @ Bradley University...I grew up on reading my father's large collection of comics. While I'm looking at becoming a conceptual artist for video games and the like, I'm working on several comic projects because it's a passion of mine. I have a deviantart and I'm working on getting a personal website up. raithe.deviantart.com

Hi! I'm Alisa Bishop, I really suck at drawing and signed up here for the heck of it hoping for some good times. My Deviantart exists here: zuluyo.deviantart.comI guess in more detail: I am not currently majoring in anything as I'm in the process of applying for an art major now that my generals are done. I plan on majoring in graphic design and I currently work as a pre-press...thing at a printing company. If the whole graphic design major doesn't work out, I'll go for painting/drawing.

Followin' the tred-
Name's Ray Jenkins. Full time I work in Documentation for an Insurance company in Chicago.
I wanted to be a comic book artist for as long as I've read comics (started at age 6 with a wolverine book- good start, eh?). Out of highschool I was given a full ride to an art school, but turned it down due to being told I would grow to hate art. Disenchanted, I gave up drawing all together by the time I was twenty.
I grew up trying to emulate styles such as Jim Lee and Mark Silvestri. Turned out to be a big mistake. I love them as artists, but I frustrate myself when my work doesn't look professional grade (which means, I'm frustrated ALL THE TIME), or looks too cartoony- not that there's anything wrong with that, but I like a more gritty, realistic style (as realistic as comics get, I suppose).
Now, I'm turning 29 this month and just started drawing again last year. I pencil... and can barely ink. But, when I do, I use Copic Multiliners instead of nib pens- mainly because I don't know how to use nibs correctly and I'm afraid of utterly screwing up.
On the plus side, I'm slowly starting to shed my obscenely high expectations for myself and I'm starting to let my art just come naturally instead of trying to force it to be a specific way.
So, here I am, having heard of the board from Mark's DA post.

Hi! My name's Eric, I'm a designer/storyboard artist for a video game company in Quebec. Here's a short that I've storyboarded/written/designed and did the background for: I've been a listening to Walter's podcast and there I was introduced to you, Mark. I had only known you from your work ever since I saw your pencils on the Top Cow forums. When I'm not at work, I do my creator online comic, Herobot. You can check it out here if you wish: www.actionfactoryonline.com/

Hello, I'm Taisia. I'm a Professional Portrait Photographer at Walt Disney World Resorts. I actually won a full scholarship to art school straight out of high school. Loved the 4 years spent in art school where I majored in Computer Animation with portfolio concentration in character design and storyboarding. I soon realized that although I love the animation world, I really do like just doodling and creating art at my own pace, thus I haven't worked in the animation industry. For the past 2.5 years, I've been consumed by the world of photography (mostly because of my job) so I haven't been drawing much. I feel absolutely guilty about it. And now I'm here because I have nothing better to do after a long day of work, and this seems like the place I'd feel most at home. Deviant page ---> rubberduckytai.deviantart.com/ doesn't have much, but it's there...

I didn't even apply, someone else applied for me and they accepted me. (Denver Institute of Art) However I didn't go because of other things. Now, I am a struggling photographer. Though, I suppose my photography is not really Disney material, it would be a fun job to have. Anyway... yeah.. im sad now.. all you people rock and I am a Hack.
