Hey guys. Found this board from gaucking at Mark Brooks' stuff. I've just started my path to break into comics and thought that Mark's Breaking the Panel podcast is great for people looking for critiques. Here are some of my sketch's, next on to sequentials to hopefully get reviewed! Sorry they are so big, I use them in other places. Later.

I really like your style of making the characters recognizable without them looking ripped off. Nice work!

Nice work. Is that a little Art Thiebert influence going on in there?

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I had to look up who Art Thiebert even was, I'll take that as a great compliment! My big influences are Adams, Lee, Peterson, Campbell from the 90s.

Thanks metalgearray09. It's all done with smoke and mirrors . . . just kidding. I use a Wacom tablet and Sketchbook Pro. I found it's flexibility really opens up my mind to play around with concepts and art to get the outcome I want.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I just started down the path to getting serious about comic art a little over a month ago. Here are some ladies and I'm working on a 4 page sequential and cover hopefully to be review by Mark and the gang once completed. I will admit that I'm still working on my comfort level when it comes to drawing females . . .
