Hey, thought id ask the community out there what media they use? Whether it's old fashioned pencils or Graphics Tablets. I wanna know! I Personally like too us pencils but largely rely on my Wacom Intuos 3 Graphics Tablet 9x12.

I sketch everything in pencil first. Sometimes ballpoint, but when that is the case, I trace it to pencil. I work almost only in traditional media. When I CG I only do vector, but I would like to try other things!
Faves: Watercolour, marker, coloured pencil, coloured ink.

I used to do just strictly traditional pencil, then used copics and greyscale washes. Now it's a Graphire4, Photoshop 3, and a 08' MacBook.

I'll usually do a few sketches in pencil first, then try and do the same thing again on the computer with a Wacom Bamboo tablet, where I do the entire picture from lines to colors. I definitely benefit from the Undo button and layers,

Layers FTW! That's what always makes it hard for me to transition back and forth. I get ticked off I can't go under the amount of work I spent two hours on and erase a line that's bugging me without wasting the entire picture.

wacom cintiq 12wx and photoshop cs3 for me! i'm a lefty, so i tend to smudge a lot when i draw on paper; not so with digital. though, i am considering moving back into traditional pencils with digital inks.

copy paper, card stock paper (is cheap and you can erase on it a lot), bristol, mech pencils HB .05,.07. and a lead holder, sharpies, microns, pitt pens, and erasers! i ink with a croquill sometimes, but i always make a mess (all that endless dippin drives me nuts ) , i have a tiny 3x4 graphire2 wacom tablet, mostly used for inking and coloring, i draw on it too but prefer the real life paper and pencil
