I suck at panels -I know that. So I'm trying to practice. I do these in stages. Red - for really rough Blue - a little tighter Lines - actual likes Colors - you get the picture. you can see some other rough ones here -http://juggertha.deviantart.com/gallery/#_browse/scraps I hope to do 4 pages in total. This pages has a cool look to it at this point but, definently work on the proportional and anatomical issues, like the scale of the guy walking by in the first panel...he is freakin' huge. That bar looks like a mile from him to the counter. He also shouldn't sho that much of his body from chin to shin like that. He look out of place and squashed into the panel.
Next, anatomy - Peter has no neck i nthe second shot. I understand this is a sketch at this stage but be sure and follow through, as you already know, the base line is where the structure lives.
Perspective - This page has character and a little life in it, for what it is. You have a grasp of the character's personalities and presense but, change your camera angles up, you will get a much better finished product.
At this point, you have everything straight on. Even though you are moving the camera around, it is stuck in one level of view. With this current page design, think about it as you would be looking at a coin. Panel 1 - face of the coin, panel 2 - back of the coin, neither time, moving the coin position to see it any other way but straight on.
The same thing happens with the last two panels. You have clearly tried to add in the height different between the two chatacters but, the same issue of being straight on.
Try moving the camera around a little more. As for expressing Logan's response, I always like to play on the scale of who he is bucking up against in a mid-level shot of some sort, as he is always in someone's face.
